HANS MEULENBERG
Electric, Acoustic, Bass Guitar
Hans began studying music at an early age. He has studied electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, tuba and upright string bass. He has played with his father's jazz band, the Virginia Beach orchestra, the Norfolk symphony, various rock bands and even some gospel and bluegrass bands.
Hans teaches both children and adults to read by music and play by ear with a fun, yet steady, approach. He also leads a youth rock band which students can join once they've had a few months of lessons. Hans currently plays in a German Polka Band.
"Over the past two years of me taking guitar lessons, i have surpassed any expectations I had of where my guitar skills could be, and I owe that all to you! You are such an awesome teacher! I know in our lessons, we talk about a lot more than guitars, and I enjoy every minute of it. Thank you such much for being such a great teacher! Oh and thank you for singing along with me when I am too embarrassed to sing alone. Half the time you sing the part better than me. Thank you so, so much, Mr. M!!"
