Voice, Beginning Piano, Music Theory, Music Technology

Alisha attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a B.A. in voice and music technology.

Lessons are tailored to each individual's goals as an artist; utilizing classical and contemporary techniques to encourage vocal freedom in any genre. Voice lessons with Alisha provide artistic nourishment in all areas of musical development, including music theory instruction, sight reading and sight singing, performance technique, and composition.

Alisha is a NATS certified instructor.

“Alisha is capable, organized, and sensitive to the needs of her students – not to mention, she’s a total brain. I’ve been taking lessons with her for over a year now, and I look forward to them every week. She’s interested in teaching her students to sing using techniques that promote voice health and longevity, and incorporates music theory into many of her lessons. Her fun, laid-back attitude makes it easy to relax and I love all of the creative exercises she comes up with to help me over my blocks. Early on, she told me that her goal is to help her students become good musicians, not just good singers, and by the end of this month I’ll have composed my first song for her review. I didn’t think I’d ever learn much about music, but Alisha’s helping me change that and it’s really rewarding. To recap: taking lessons from this woman makes me happy! I can’t recommend her enough!”

"Alisha's voice lessons are fun and inspiring. I feel encouraged, but not pressured in her classes and always learn something new. They make me feel more confident about my singing and performance in general, and no matter how bad or good my mood is, I always come out feeling better. If you like to sing and have fun, this is totally a class for you. Thank you, Alisha!"
